    CAMT Employee Profile: Dan Breslin

    Dan Breslin joined CAMT officially in the spring of 2006 as a project manager serving the Front Range with expertise in Lean Enterprise solutions and Six Sigma quality. Dan specializes in shopfloor conversions from Traditional to Lean manufacturing systems.

    With over 25 years experience in manufacturing systems engineering, training and education for small to large businesses, Dan has brought a wealth of knowledge and innovation to CAMT. His experience spans a variety of companies, including medical device manufacturing to animal cage production in both continuous flow and piece manufacturing. Companies Dan has worked with include Anheuser-Busch, Eastman Kodak Company, SCA Packaging, and Springs Fabrication Industries.

    Dan earned his Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and holds several certifications, such as:

    • SME/AME/Shingo Prize Bronze Lean Certification
    • ASQ certified Quality Manager
    • Certified Six Sigma Quality Black Belt
    • Colorado Performance Excellence examiner and author

    Richard Bell of Gates Corporation to Deliver Keynote Address at Economic Outlook Forum

    Richard Bell, President of Gates Coporation, will discuss "The Changing World of Manufacturing and Distribution" in his keynote address at the 2007 Business Economic Outlook Forum. This annual half- day business event sponsored by the CU Leeds School of Business and Compass Bank begins with a general forecast for the Colorado economy, followed by Richard Bell's keynote presentation. The afternoon will consist of four breakout discussion sessions and will end with a networking reception. There is no charge for the forum, and no reservations are necessary.
