Thursday, April 17th CU-Boulder AeroSpace Ventures, a collaboration among numerous space-related academic departments and industry partners, is hosting CU AeroSpace Ventures Day (ASV Day). ASV Day is an aerospace industry outreach event at which: (1) Corporate executives (CTO's, Chief Scientists, etc.) can learn about the most cutting-edge aerospace-related research and innovations coming from campus faculty, and (2) Corporate recruiters and hiring managers can meet outstanding undergraduate and graduate students interested in working in the aerospace or aerospace-related industries in internship, co-op, part-time, and full-time positions. "Colorado employers added 7,300 nonfarm jobs during January, giving the state a total of 2,412,200 jobs and bringing our unemployment rate down to 6.1 percent from 6.2 percent in December. Our unemployment rate is down to pre-recession levels.
